Advertisers are able to harness the additional impact and engagement delivered by JCDecaux Innovate alongside their standard JCDecaux campaigns. Last year, there were close to 1,500 Innovate campaigns throughout the JCDecaux Group.
Every month, JCDecaux employees vote for the best Innovate campaign internally. The campaign from JCDecaux France for Ikea was voted best Innovate campaign of the month for October 2013.
To promote its bathrooms, which are convenient, comfortable and perfectly adapted to the needs of Parisian lifestyle and Parisian flats, IKEA and its event agency Ubi Bene entrusted JCDecaux Innovate France making an original showcase located at 2.5 meters above the ground and including a shower room on one side, and a laundry room with washing machine and cupboards on the other side.
To add interaction to the special build, every morning from 8am to 9.30am, an actress comes up to take a shower, brush her teeth, do her makeup and hair styling... all in front of everybody. From 7pm to 8pm, an actor takes over.
