JCDecaux is a French family-owned company that was created in 1964. Its founder, Jean-Claude Decaux, pioneered a new urban services sector and a unique business model that finances infrastructure through advertising.  As well as serving the public, JCDecaux aims to be a sustainable media company in cities, transport hubs and retail spaces.

Our mission is to create sustainable products and services that benefit cities, residents and visitors, transport companies and airports, funded through best-in-class advertising: bus shelters, self-service bicycle schemes, passenger information panels and mobile charging terminals... JCDecaux works continuously to ensure that advertising makes a positive contribution within an ambitious framework of social and environmental policy.

STREET FURNITURE. Inventor and global leader.

JCDecaux installs and maintains street furniture at its own expense in communities where it has a contractual relationship with local authorities. JCDecaux markets advertising space on these installations.

In addition to quality design and top-quality installation in cities, quality depends heavily on the maintenance provided as part of street furniture contracts.

Today, 3,894 cities with more than 10,000 inhabitants place their trust in JCDecaux.

JCDecaux manages advertising concessions in airports, metro systems, bus systems, trains and light rail. In line with our business model, we also take care of the design, installation, maintenance and financing of services like Wi-Fi connections and mobile charging terminals. We are constantly innovating to meet passengers’ evolving needs.

Billboards are the oldest form of outdoor advertising. JCDecaux has revolutionised this medium by focusing on qualitative solutions. With innovations like scrolling panels, iconic giant displays and wall-wraps for façades, advertisers achieve maximum impact.

Billboard Advertising also includes illuminated advertising solutions (design and installation of  large-format neon advertising) and event banners (very large-scale cladding on building restoration sites).
