Shopping while abroad is an integral part of the travel experience, where travel destinations are decided based on the availability of brands and shopping opportunities in that country. JCDecaux Airport released results from their Global Shopper Study which seeks to understand purchasing behaviour among 1,475 travellers in 8 countries*.

The study found that 86% consider shopping as an important part of their trips, and over 2/3 choose their travel destination according to shopping opportunities and available brands in that country. Key Findings
