As the tournament approached, JCDecaux and Adidas kicked things off in the streets of Amsterdam. At the foot of the city’s iconic façades, bus shelters showcased some of the biggest global football stars, and more besides: Lionel Messi, Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham, as well as Bad Bunny and Timothée Chalamet.

For the occasion, the bus shelter benches were turned into storage crates filled with training equipment. Above the structure, the official adidas World Cup ball, Trionda, sat in pride of place, recreated in 3D in a spectacular execution that instantly caught the eye.
