From the moment they stepped off the plane, passengers were plunged into a setting inspired by space stations: illuminated portholes and spectacular views of the Earth, planets and satellites, all brought to life by lighting effects that guided them step by step. Located in a very high-traffic area, this premium tunnel turned the airport journey into a timeless interlude. Every step became an opportunity to look up, be amazed and discover the key role Belgium plays in international space missions.


Conceived as part of the international “Belgium. Open for Business” campaign, this activation showcased Belgian space know-how in a spectacular yet accessible way. By combining educational content, visual immersion and a sensory staging, it created a strong emotional connection with travellers from around the world. More than a simple installation, it provided a life-sized demonstration of how JCDecaux digital screens can enhance a destination, strengthen its innovative image and turn a moment of transit into a genuine brand experience.
