Winner of the JCDecaux Innovate campaign of the month - April 2013
Advertisers are able to harness the additional impact and engagement delivered by JCDecaux Innovate alongside their standard JCDecaux campaigns. Last year, there were close to 1,500 Innovate campaigns throughout the JCDecaux Group.
Every month, JCDecaux employees vote for the best Innovate campaign internally. Ikea's campaign from Austria was voted best Innovate campaign of the month of April 2013.
To promote their new range of LED lights, Ikea and Gewista Austria chose to showcase their new product on scrolling panels in Vienna.
The fluorescent tubes of Gewista’s citylight scrollers were replaced by IKEA’s new range of LED lights. The purpose of the advertisement was to show the traditional poster as well as the LED lights on the same unit. Two posters were installed – one with the traditional poster and a second one with a transparent panel that enabled passers-by to discover Ikea’s LED lights that were placed inside the unit.
