A touchscreen bus shelter tests for HIV | AidsFonds Netherlands
Many people procrastinate about having an HIV test. The charity AidsFonds timed their campaign with HIV Testing Week in the Netherlands in an effort to educate audiences about the ease of getting a test. A CTA on a customised touchscreen panel invited commuters to simply place their palm on the sensor under the premise that they would get instant results. As the nervous participants waited for the results, the panel displayed a new message “Getting an HIV test is easy, but maybe not this easy! Get a quick, free and anonymous test at your local health clinic during HIV Testing Week”.
The intriguing CTA, interactivity and importantly - the balanced delivery with shock and humor, raised awareness for HIV testing, boosted recall and educated passers-by about the necessity of a diagnosis.
