Caring for the environment

JCDecaux goes out of its way to optimise the use of natural resources, to closely manage its consumption of water and energy, to limit the environmental impacts of its operating activities and to maximise the recycling and reuse of its waste.

JCDecaux pays particular attention to the choice of its suppliers on the basis of the Group’s economic as well as qualitative, environmental or ethical values. Regular audits are carried out to ensure that progress is continuing and that measures are in place to comply with the Group’s Ethical Charter, the regulations currently in force and working conditions.

JCDecaux also fully assumes its responsibility in the day-to-day management of its operations. The company actively encourages its employees to adopt responsible, eco-friendly gestures, working through its Ecoreflex initiative, for example, or its smarter driving campaign.

A number of initiatives are currently being evaluated with a view to expanding the range of environmentally friendly products and services made available by the Group for its employees.
