Francis Rideau (49), a graduate of the ESCAE business school in Amiens, joined the Corporate Finance Department of the Elf Group in 1981 before becoming the financial officer of subsidiaries in England and Australia active in the Refinery and Exploration-Production sectors.
He moved to the Sanofi Group in 1992 to assume responsibility as Chief Financial Officer of activities in Morocco. In 1996, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Group’s Diagnostics Division. Following the Sanofi Group’s refocusing on its core pharmaceuticals business, he became Chief Financial Officer of the Africa-Middle East geographical zone in 1998.
He joined the Decaux Group in the summer of 2001 as Director of Management Control, France.
In March 2003, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer, France, responsible for Bookkeeping, Management Control and Financial Information Systems for all the French subsidiaries of the Group.
